I am really excited and pretty nervous, all at the same time. You would think that it was my wedding day or that my due date was just around the corner. Nothing like that, instead tomorrow will be my first over night trip away from Kai. I will be without him for 4 nights and 5 days!
I have to admit that I am looking forward to certain things about it, but the other part of me is sad. What if he has a first-and I am not there to celebrate it with him? We have been together every day since he was born. He probably won't even notice that I am gone, but I will.
